MAGSI is a design brand for renters. Its first product, Switch, goes over the light switch that came with the apartment, mounts on the existing screws, and comes off without a trace when you move.

How it works

The Magic Bracket replaces your old light switch plate on the same screws. The button and cover go on after. Pick a style to see how it goes up.

Step 1

Remove the light switch plate

  1. It replaces your old plate

    Take the plate off and set the Magic Bracket on the same screws. Nothing new goes into the wall, and your old plate waits in a drawer.

  2. The cover snaps on

    The button and the cover snap into the Magic Bracket.

  3. It comes off the same way

    Pull the cover off, unscrew the Magic Bracket and put your old plate back. The wall looks the way it did when you moved in.

  4. What it fits

    Single and double toggle and rocker switches. It doesn't fit dimmers or three- and four-gang plates.
